Pforzheim, Germany runs for life

The United Methodist Church in Pforzheim, Germany organized a marathon on 21st July, 2012 which attracted 1,700 runners from different parts of Germany.  Run for a life is an event that happens every two years in Germany to save lives in  African countries. This year, Malawi happened to be the beneficiary.

The runners together covered a distance of 19,500 kms, almost half around the world.  The fastest runner covered a distance of 61kms alone.
